Relatively low cost and convenient location.

Terrible stench from the bathroom in all rooms. Old and poor quality repair of the rooms. After the running water ran out, the staff stopped being friendly and solving the problem.Had to pack late at night for another hotel. Lighting in one of the rooms was broken.

The view is amazing. The suite is really spacious and comfy. The staff is really friendly. Good breakfast. Great options and prices. Very recommended.

The price was good and it is very near to the findlki metro station The owners of the hotel were very kind they were supportive in each request and they arranged for us a trip to sapanca with the least price and excellent quality They also supported us in reaching every single place in Istanbul through the metro which saved alot compared to taxis For sure we need to come back again to istanbul to meet the staff again

CAUTION TO FEMALE TRAVELLERS

**Female travellers please read the screen shot photos***A male staff member at the hotel made me and my friend EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE as he HARASSED us by text message throughout our stay. It was HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE, that he ABUSED HIS POWER of having my cell phone number to text us multiple times a day, with each text getting more and more OBSENE and INAPPROPRIATE. I do not recommend this hotel to solo women travellers or even women travelling in a group. We did not solicit this unwanted attention, and any response I gave was just trying to be polite.

Super friendly stuff helping me solve my immediate issues, quite good location when you want to observe historical monuments of Istanbul, it's almost sits on tram line to the City. Rooms were spacious with view of Bosporus.

Same breakfast for 3 days

The location is very good. Street is quiet. Close to metro station and feribot. All the staff is really caring and friendly.

It is alright for a two nights stay. Rooms are spacious. Its kept clean although a bit run down with age. Breakfast is decent and simple fare. Nice host and family owned.

In need of some maintenance, the tap is leaking all day and night. Pillow not so comfy. Sofa would be good as there’a good space around.

Location and Shared Room. Walkable to taksim square to Sofitel Lane. There is a restaurant just behind the corner, serves you the best authentic value food, which we enjoyed twice.

Thats the hotel and street parking is not available.

Small hotel located near the taksim area. Breakfast was good and sea view rooms were roomy and spacious.

I recently stayed in a sea-view suite at Cihangir Hotel Bosphorus, and my experience was very pleasant. The view from the room was breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset, creating unforgettable moments.The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taksim Square, making it easy to explore Istanbul. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always available to ensure a comfortable stay.The breakfast included a good variety of dishes, and the suite was spacious and well-appointed, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful Bosphorus view and a central location. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

Amazing staff, very polite and helpful. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. The food at breakfast and the location are also great.

I have very mixed feelings about this accommodation: I stayed here for a week. There are things I appreciated and things I really couldn't stand. Firstly, the staff is very helpful and friendly. I really appreciated their support and service. During one week I literally changed 4 times of room (I'll explain in the cons) but they were always willing to fix the problem for me. I embrace the hospitality. Secondly, the bed is really comfortable to my taste, which is a huge plus for a light sleeper like me.Thirdly, the location is a way is very good, one can easily reach Taksim or walk to the ferry stop Kabataş. But please be aware that the geographical nature of Cihangir is very hilly, so there will be a lot of stairs or slopes to go up and down. If you have knee problems or carry many heavy suitcases, I wouldn't recommend you stay in this area. Breakfast was included, though I hardly had any.Overall, the service and quality kind of serve its price.

The Smell: the main reason why I asked to change rooms was because the smell from the kitchen actually went up to our room. As someone who's very sensitive to smell I woke with the greasy smell from downstairs. I ended up moving to the 5th floor. (more precisely, room 502, where there is a double door to keep the smell away.)The Breakfast: It's not terrible but very basic. You'll judge it when you see them. The Noise: even with all the windows shut, one can still hear the noise from the road. It didn't bother me too much. but if you don't like that, be aware. Overall it's an old hotel that is almost 60 years old. It certainly needs a bit of renovation. Some corners are unfortunately a bit run down. One last thing I'd like to remind all of you is that, the photos on the website do look better than reality. Don't expect you'll see exactly what the photos show.
